This week I am talking David Bennett about his Near Death Experience and work with the International Association of Near Death Studies.

David enjoys the retired life of a public speaker, author, energetic healer, and transformational life coach. He’s had many appearances on radio and television, including on The Story of God with Morgan Freeman, Doctor Oz, Angels Among Us, NBC National News, and PBS.

David had many transformative experiences; in 1983 He drowned and had a Near-Death Experience while the Chief Engineer of the ocean research vessel Aloha. He experienced a second transformative experience in 1994 when in meditation in Sedona AZ, his childhood home. The third experience occurred in November 2000, when he was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer that metastasized into his spine causing its collapse. Now in remission and retired/disabled his passion includes Working in his woodshop and writing reflections for living an empowered life and sharing them on his weekly Facebook live events “Contemplative Living”

David’s work as an energetic healer uses a White Light healing technique that was given to him from Spirit during stage IV lung and bone cancer. He also works as a certified integration & transformational life coach. His book about his Near-Death Experiences is called, “Voyage of Purpose: Spiritual Wisdom from Near-Death back to Life”

  • He is the past president of Upstate New York IANDS. and is now on the Board of Virginia Beach IANDS.
  • He serves on the board for, and NDE R&R helping coordinate the Near-Death Experiencer Spiritual Retreats in St. Louis, MO & Virginia Beach.
  • David also serves as an advisor to the Board of Directors of the American Center for the Integration of Spiritually Transformative Experiencers (ACISTE) in San Diego.
  • David has retired to Virginia Beach where he daily devotes his time to writing and spreading his message.
